Can Fissure of Woe still be chest run?
I think I recall the chest run being nerfed a while back (maybe a year and a half ago), though I could be wrong.
Does anyone still run this? What build is being used if you can run it? |

It can still be run....
BUT the point of running it in a team has largely disappeared. People used to run FoW because chests used to always spawn the same type of item (ie, all purples or all golds). The main reason people ran FoW in teams wasn't because they had to (it is easily soloed/duoed), but because they could save money on keys by skipping the purple chests after the first person opened it. Now that chest drops are random, there isn't really any motivation to team up for this anymore. And due to HM, you can find "better" chests then FoW ones in more runnable areas. |

Thank you for the quick response. I'm looking for someplace different to chest run, I've opened 2400+ chests, less than 100 from r5, and am bored with the other farming areas, plus the chance for the different drops.

farming easter eggs this weekend could give u a reprieve from normal chest running ;-) although it's just trading one grind for another =D.

FoW chestruns haven't been nerfed and people were doing them long long after the general nerf that made all chest drops random. Main reason to keep doing it in team was to split entry fee and to split and quickly locate chests on the map. And FoW chests can still drop very nice items, as opposed to most NF/EotN HM chests where the best you can get is an elite tome.

Before you attempt to ask what is the "best way" to farm them eggs. It's the same friggin answer EVERY WEEKEND EVENT. Raptors or Vaettirs. That's it that's all. If you want to know how, I'm absolutely certain you can find your answer on wiki, farming section, youtube, google etc...
Just thought I'd get that out of the way. There's a thread just closed today asking the same friggin question. Oh btw Happy Hunting |
